Dr. Octagonecologyst is the 1996 debut album by Dr. Octagon, the surreal alter ego of Kool Keith, released under Bulk Recordings in the U.S. and Mo’ Wax in the U.K. The album was produced by Dan the Automator, with contributions from DJ Q-Bert and KutMasta Kurt. It introduces Dr. Octagon as a time-traveling, extraterrestrial gynaecologist from Jupiter, delivering bizarre and abstract narratives through Kool Keith’s distinctive lyricism.
